Cryogonal is a Generation V ice-type Pokémon with a Pokedex number of 615. It is an unusual and unique Pokémon that appears as if it is made of large, sharp-angled, icy-blue snowflakes. The face is colored with darker blue, featuring glowing eyes and a wide mouth. It doesn't have any evolutionary forms. Cryogonal uses its ice body to freeze the moisture in the air, creating elaborate ice crystals all around. This Pokémon has the ability to completely control its body temperature, preventing it from melting even under intense heat. When it gets too warm, it freezes itself back to a perfect low temperature status. Given its ice- type, it's highly effective in battles against Flying, Ground, Grass and Dragon-type Pokémon. It is, however, weak against Fire, Rock, Steel and Fighting type Pokémon. Cryogonal's ability, Levitate, gives it immunity against all Ground-type moves commonly a weakness for its type. This Pokémon's signature move is Ice Beam, a powerful Ice-type attack. Other abilities include Rapid Spin, a move that can clear various conditions and hazards. It's a versatile Pokémon to have in your team due to its high special defense and special attack stats, together with an assortment of icy attacks.
