Roaring Moon, known in Japanese as Todorokutsuki, is a unique Dragon/Dark Paradox Pokémon that was first introduced in Generation IX. It doesn't evolve into or from any other Pokémon. It is believed to be an ancient relative of Mega Salamence, displaying a remarkable resemblance. Roaring Moon is exclusive to different games such as Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. This Pokémon has an in-battle movement type of Dragon and Dark, making it immune to Psychic. It further resists Dark, Electric, Fire, Ghost, Grass, and Water types. Its ability, "Protosynthesis," allows it to raise its highest stat by 30% (or 50% for Speed) whenthe weather condition Sunny Day is activated or if the Booster Energy is in play. Despite its impressive capabilities, Roaring Moon barely survived the last tier shift. This Pokémon still holds many mysteries, as suggested by an old expedition journal.
