Kartana is a dual-type Grass/Steel Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. This Ultra Beast is also known by its code name, UB-04 Blade. It does not evolve into or from any other Pokémon. Standing at just over a foot tall, Kartana seems deceptively small compared to its immense power. Shaped like a stylized, humanoid piece of origami, its body is primarily white with accents of red and navy. The white parts of its body are comprised of a paper-like substance, while the colored parts are sharp enough to cut through anything, hence its name coming from 'katana', a traditional Japanese sword. Kartana's primary strength lies in its physical attack stats, making it a potentially devastating opponent in battle. In the wild, it can often be found in grassy fields, where it blends in with its paper-like body. Despite its combative nature, Kartana is known to be surprisingly silent and tends to avoid unnecessary conflict.
