Koraidon, known in Japanese as コライドン (Koraidon), is a dual-type Fighting/Dragon Legendary Paradox Pokémon. It was first introduced in Generation IX. Koraidon is notable for its unique ability, Orichalcum Pulse, which turns the sunlight harsh when the Pokémon enters a battle. Although Koraidon doesn't evolve into or from any other Pokémon, it's noted to be an ancient relative of Cyclizar. With a distinct resemblance to Cyclizar, Koraidon exhibits a much burlier and ferocious appearance. Its body is largely scarlet in color, contrasted by white accents on its cheeks and abdomen. As a Legendary Pokémon, Koraidon features prominently in Pokémon Scarlet. Yet, its ecology and further features remain unknown. Even its evolutions and egg group remain undiscovered. Regardless of these unknown factors, Koraidon is recognized for being an especially powerful Pokémon with the potential to break past all of its normal checks and switch-ins.
