Description:
Mawile is a dual-type Steel/Fairy Pokémon introduced in Generation III. Before Generation VI, it was a pure Steel-type Pokémon. This small Pokémon stands about 2 feet tall and weighs just over 25 pounds. Mawile is characterized by its large jaw-like appendages that protrude from the back of its head, which are actually steel horns that have been transformed. The jaws are incredibly strong and are capable of biting through iron beams. Mawile is a deceptive Pokémon, using its cute appearance to fool enemies and hiding its dangerous side. When threatened, it displays the giant jaws as a way to intimidate foes. Despite the fierce jaws, Mawile can be quite friendly and is known for its loyalty. Unfortunately, Mawile has no known evolution in the Pokémon series. It does, however, have a Mega Evolution, known as Mega Mawile, using Mawilite.
