Ninjask is a dual-type Bug/Flying Pokémon introduced in Generation III. It evolves from Nincada starting at level 20, however, this evolution only occurs if there is an extra slot in the player's party. The evolution process also generates a second Pokémon, Shedinja. Ninjask is known as the 'Ninja Pokémon' and is recognized for its incredibly high speed. It resembles a large cicada with elongated, blade-like forearms and large, veined wings. Its body is primarily yellow and it has round black eyes. Ninjask is known to be incredibly nimble and it can evade attacks while flying at high speeds. In the Pokémon games, it often uses moves like double team to evade enemy attacks and swords dance to raise its attack power. Due to its high speed and evasion abilities, Ninjask is often utilized for Baton Pass strategies in Pokémon battles.
