Description:
Ampharos is a Generation II, Electric-type Pokémon that is known by the classification "Light Pokémon". It is notable for its tall, yellow body, long neck, and rounded ears. Light from its tail can be seen from space, which was historically used to send signals and guide ships. Ampharos is the final form in an evolutionary line that starts with Mareep and goes through Flaaffy. Mareep evolves into Flaaffy starting at level 15, and Flaaffy evolves into Ampharos beginning at level 30. In addition, Ampharos can further evolve into Mega Ampharos using a suitable Mega Stone.
